Features: KF960 is a long throw speaker system made by quality plywood, with a complicated internal bracing structure. Finished with by wear-resistant textured paint. This high output system is scalable from small theatres to large stadiums. This features an easy design specific venues, excellent sonic performance and much more efficient than other line arrays. TASSO KF960 is parallel to similar products of big names in the world. KF960 is a 3-way full range, tri-powered system packing 2 x 12" (M/LF), 2 x 10" (LF) plus 2 x 2" (HF) and horn loaded. KF960 delivers an average beam and an even sound pressure level at distance by a superior method of divergence shading, which keeps a constant pressure throughout the source, avoids interface among different frequencies as well. KF960 is a vertical and curved array system with broad and even dispersion providing sufficient high SPL LIVE sound for large and most sound-demanding stadiums. Another important feature is that, we make an integrated treatment to solve the non-linear air movement at the horn throat, which consequently reduce distortion to the greatest extend. Last but not least, the M/LF produced by the 2 12" woofers is extruded to 900 x 60 tube directionality horn (TDH - patent pending), which tackles well the phase and response. TASSO KF960 employs a divergence shading method. Each speaker is powered at equal level but the arrayed speakers produce a continuous, coherent wavefront, projecting extended range and high resolution sound for full coverage area. Meanwhile, KF960 can adjust the SPL according to the source distance through changing the curvature of the array. KF960B is companion to KF960. KF960B is a vented double 18" subwoofer system serving the bass of the entire line array system. It s designed according to the aerodynamic rules. By this, we successfully solve the problem of bowl wave, which blocks mostly LF transmission and produces noise when woofer works. We also apply a Multi-Sound-Area design, which enhances response range of LF and reduces the vibration of cone movement, leads to low distortion and big dynamic range.
